This fun and colorful jewelry set can be purchased separately if desired and is part of The New England Collection representing the beautiful state of Vermont.
The necklace features a reversible (blue on one side, iridescent green on the other) Czech glass teardrop. It is hand wrapped in rose gold artisan wire and hangs on an 18" rose gold plated stainless steel chain. The name Vermont actually came from the French phrase for "green mountain". See matching bracelet here.
The earrings are made of 3 tiers of silk tassels. They are wire wrapped with copper and are topped with a unique, handmade paper bead. They hang just about 5 inches from the ear on natural brass ear wires.
Vermont is heavily forested and such a beautiful state year round, but especially in the fall. This set reminded me of the the many sugar maple trees that burst into a profusion of breathtaking colors. Thanks to all those trees, Vermont also produces the most maple syrup in the US...half a million gallons a year!
